Veterans Day, also known as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day, is observed on November 11 in the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, and France. This date commemorates the end of the First World War, when the Armistice signed with Germany took effect at 11 a.m. from November 11, 1918. Observances of the day are held in other countries on different dates to honor those who served in their nation’s armed forces.
At Infoblox and BloxVets ERG, we commemorate this day of remembrance with great pride in order to honor and celebrate those who have served in the armed forces. In honor of those who have served in the armed forces, we have organized a number of internal and external events for our community:
November 1 to Dec 16th, 2022:
Double matching charitable giving campaign for Toys for Tots.
November 10th, 2022:
Veterans Day Zoom event to honor Bloxers who served and to celebrate the 247th birthday of the US Marine Corps, featuring special guest, Matthew (Griff) Griffin.
November 11th, 2022:
November 11th, 2022: BloxVets movie night, via Zoom, featuring the hit new movie, Top Gun 2.
