Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, Infoblox partnered with the W@IN ERG to raise awareness, celebrate the courageous stories of survivors, and support brave fighters in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer affects millions of people around the world and is an important issue that impacts Bloxers. Throughout the month, Bloxers had the opportunity to actively participate in a number of company wide initiatives in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Infoblox identified The Breast Cancer Research Foundation as an organization to support throughout BCA month, offering a 200% match to employee donations. Another campaign we encouraged Bloxers to engage in was our W@IN Map of Hope. This campaign was dedicated to raising awareness and uplifting voices from around the world in support of those battling Breast Cancer. This year we also hosted our annual Step Up for Cancer step challenge with the goal of achieving 40 million steps over the 18 day challenge. Bloxers surpassed this goal achieving 61,624,625 total steps! To wrap up the month, our Benefits team shared educational resources and hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Month Expert Speaker Panel that spoke on new developments in breast cancer care. Throughout the month, we were proud to unite Bloxers from across the globe in support of this important cause.

In addition to providing a corporate donation, Infoblox has committed to matching employee donations to these organizations. This year, we invited Bloxers to join us in donating to Girls in Tech and Doctors without Borders. Moreover, we are pleased to announce that we have planted a tree for every Bloxer through the organization One-Tree Planted. Throughout this month our offices also held food drives where employees were encouraged to bring food items to collect in the office and donate to local food pantries.

We strongly believe in the power of action and the spirit of generosity, which can collectively contribute to important changes that benefit society.
