Our Focus Areas

Overarching ESG Plan

Our overarching ESG policy is designed to fulfill the demands of our growing business and to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2021 we conducted a materiality assessment of our business and identified focus areas to evaluate opportunities and risks related to ESG efforts. Additionally, we leverage ESG efforts to address important issues facing underserved and under-resourced communities. Our robust technical solutions and global reach will allow us to bring practical and scalable programs to our partners and communities. Our ESG focus areas are reviewed on regular intervals by the ESG cross-functional team and reported quarterly to executives. Ongoing ESG initiatives will be published on our website for external stakeholders, customers, and employees.

Environmental

Our Environmental guiding principles outline our commitment to being a creative and positive contributor in the enhancement and protection of our global environment.

Infoblox is committed to environmentally friendly facilities to reduce its carbon footprint, waste creation, and energy consumption. Our approach is informed by the Paris Agreement, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and other local governing authorities to meet greenhouse gas (GHG) emission standards. While we do not believe our business operations to be a material cause of adverse climate impact, we understand that as a global market leader, we have a moral obligation to help protect the environment. This includes ongoing efforts that leverage our global workforce and its activities in the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Our environmental focus areas include:

EMISSIONS
ENERGY
REAL ESTATE
WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING

Social
Responsibility

Our corporate social responsibility strategy is to create a positive culture for our employees, to support charitable giving, and to reflect DEI as a business imperative.

We support purpose-driven causes, address inequities in diverse communities, and contribute charitable donations and volunteering. Through our Infoblox KIND program, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the issues necessary to strengthen the fabric of society and improve the welfare of humankind.

We value diversity in all its forms and are committed to creating an environment were all can thrive. Our comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) plan is based on increasing belonging and equitable representation. This includes internal diversity targets (i.e. gender and underrepresented minorities), supplier diversity target (15% long term), employee satisfaction/engagement, diversity website, charitable giving, and community outreach. We publish a monthly DEI dashboard and review with the executive team. We strive to continually build cultural competence in DEI as an organization, which is necessary to improve employee enrichment and maximize performance. Our DEI model is based on education, communication, and representation to implement our program.

We champion integrity and diversity in our supply chain. In addition to the Global Supplier Code of Conduct (which promotes adoption of Infoblox’s ESG principles among our suppliers), Infoblox’s Supplier Diversity initiatives and Supplier Diversity Policy aim to increase spending with diverse suppliers toward a long-term goal of 15% of baseline.

Governance

Our dedication to ESG underpins our commitment to ethical business practices, transparency, and fairness in our dealings. Through good governance and in consultation with our stakeholders, we are able to effectively manage risks, enhance resilience, and support our continued success.

Policies essential to good governance include:

  • Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics summarizes the ethical standards for all Infoblox directors, officers, and employees.
  • Our Global Supplier Code of Conduct carries these same principles to our supply chain. Employees and suppliers are informed about our governance expectations through our Codes of Conduct and compliance training programs.

We also strive to earn the trust of our customers, employees, the communities we serve, and the governments that represent them through a commitment to privacy and security. Infoblox’s Privacy Policy details our privacy practices, and we require regular privacy and data security training for all employees. Infoblox maintains a written information security program managed by our Chief Information Security Officer. Commitment to a Cleaner Environment

Climate change is widely recognized as one of the most significant economic and social challenges facing the world today, driven by the continued emission of greenhouse gasses (GHGs). Since the industrial revolution, human activities have significantly increased greenhouse gas emissions which warm the earth’s atmosphere. The warming of the atmosphere results in consequences that may be irreversible such as sea level rise, extreme weather, food supply disruptions, and increased temperatures, among others. Embracing the challenge of climate change is not only crucial but also a collective responsibility. Together, communities, governments, and the private sector can invigorate positive change, shaping a more sustainable and resilient future for all.

Infoblox remains committed to creating a more sustainable future through our business practices. We are a proud signatory of the Vista Climate Pledge, and are working closely to operate the business accordingly. We will continue to identify good business practices that align with our ESG values. This looks like measuring our emissions on an annual basis, identifying meaningful efforts to engage in, and committing to the communities in which we live and do business in. Our commitment to ESG is not just a policy but a pledge to pursue a brighter and more sustainable future. We call upon employees, partners, and stakeholders to join us in bringing our vision to life.
